Tang Dynasty Figure Painting

This 1 hour 36 minute lecture is about figure painting of the Tang dynasty (AD 610-907).  Tomb paintings of the early Tang, works associated with the legendary figure master Wu Daozi, and reliable copies after palace-lady pictures by Zhou Fang and others make up a detailed exploration of this greatest age of figure painting in China. 

Study guides for each lecture will be available soon, and all materials will be freely downloadable for use by anyone without charge; this is a completely non-profit project.
